Jakarta - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) until the first semester of 2022, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of US$96.79 million, an increase of around 1,549% compared to the same period the previous year of US$5.86 million.

The financial report released Monday (12/9) showed that the company's profit soared, supported by the high operating income of around 152.11% to US$341.40 million from US$135.41 million.

Along with the surge in operating income, the cost of revenue also increased by around 121.48% to US$236.99 million from US$107.003 million.

Until the first semester of 2022, the company's total assets reached US$3.29 billion, with liabilities of US$1.42 billion and equity of US$1.86 billion.
