PJAA Net Loss Shrinks 29.9% to Rp275 Billion in 2021


Jakarta - PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (PJAA) recorded a net loss for the year attributable to owners decreased by around 29.91% to Rp275.021 billion in 2021 from Rp392.838 billion.

The company's financial report published on Thursday (24/2) showed a decline in operating income throughout 2021 by around 5.99% to Rp. 389.342 billion from the previous year of Rp. 414.180 billion. Despite the lower revenue achievement, PJAA managed to reduce the cost of revenue and direct costs by around 20.51% to Rp289.448 billion, down from Rp364.170 billion.

Interest income increased by around 10.41% to Rp16,096 billion from Rp14,487 billion. Other income also jumped by about 68.68%, or from Rp. 14,602 billion to Rp. 24,632 billion.

PJAA was also able to reduce the rate of foreign exchange losses by around 99.40%, or from Rp. 1.013 billion to Rp. 6 million. Other expenses also decreased by about 55.43%, to Rp60,575 billion from Rp135.911 billion.
