Jakarta - PT Pegadaian, until the end of the first semester of 2021, posted a net profit for the current period attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.30 trillion, a decrease of 14.70% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp1.53 trillion.

According to the financial report published on Wednesday (1/9), the rising operating expenses, was up 6.95% to Rp8.72 trillion compared to the same period in 2020 of Rp8.15 trillion, dragging the profit.

However, operating income rose 2.94% to Rp10.43 trillion, compared to the previous year of Rp10.13 trillion.

Until the end of the first semester of 2021, Pegadaian recorded total assets of Rp67.80 trillion, with liabilities of Rp42.71 trillion and equity of Rp25.08 trillion.
