Jakarta - PT Lippo Kawaraci Tbk (LPKR) recorded a surge in current-period losses attributable to owners in the first semester of 2022 by around 358.17% to Rp1.205 trillion from the same period last year of Rp263 billion.

The company's financial report released on Tuesday (8/30) showed that the lower net income of around 14.32% to Rp6.762 trillion from Rp7.893 trillion triggered the swelling loss.

Financial income shrank by around 93.40%, to Rp75.168 billion, from Rp1.140 trillion. Other expenses also swelled by about 41.30% to Rp574.259 billion from Rp406.400 billion.

As a result, operating profit decreased drastically by around 94.42% to Rp87.209 billion from Rp1,563 trillion.

LPKR also received a loss from associates of Rp60.874 billion from the previous profit of Rp3.280 billion.

Until June 2022, LPKR's total assets reached Rp51.437 trillion, with liabilities of Rp30.248 trillion and equity of Rp21.188 trillion.
