The Financial Services Authority noted that the fund accumulation in the capital market until the period ending May 24, 2021, reached Rp49.67 trillion.

Based on an official statement from the OJK, quoted on Wednesday (2/6), fundraising in the capital market in May 2021 increased by around 5.54% compared to the position in April 2021 at Rp47.06 trillion.

The increase in fundraising by securities companies is in line with the rise of public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

As of May 24, 2021, 13 new companies have listed their initial shares on the IDX. This number is the same as the position in April 2021, which is 13 companies.

This year, OJK has set a target of raising funds in the capital market in the range of Rp150-180 trillion.

Meanwhile, the NAV of mutual funds for the period ending May 21, 2021, was at Rp568.02 trillion or grew by around 5.91% compared to the April 2021 position of around Rp536.28 trillion.
