Indah Kiat Net Sales Rise 14.4% YoY in Jan-Sep
Jakarta - PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) posted net sales of US$2.506 billion or grew 14.37% in the first nine months of this year compared to US$2.191 billion in the same period last year.
The company's financial report released on Tuesday (16/11) showed that the cost of goods sold rose about 7 percent to US$1.649 billion from US$1.541 billion.
Operating expenses also swelled by 16.53 percent to US$268.379 million from the same period last year of US$230.292 million. However, operating profit was successfully increased by around 40.27% to US$588,998 million from US$419,877 million.
On the other hand, other expenses increased by about 25.25% to US$111.637 million from US$89.131 million. This was triggered by the lower foreign exchange gain more than doubled from US$23,313 million to US$14.364 million.
Nevertheless, INKP managed to record a net profit attributable to owners during the January-September 2021 period of US$390.852 m
