PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) posted net sales throughout 2020 of around Rp. 3,212 trillion or a slight decrease of 3.74% from the previous year of Rp 3,337 trillion.

Based on the financial reports published on Tuesday (30/3), the cost of goods sold also only increased by 5.24% to Rp1.409 trillion from Rp1.487 trillion.

The company could also maintain operating expenses, which rose by around 2.65% to Rp1.598 trillion from Rp1.556 trillion.

However, Sari Roti had to bear the loss from disposing of the subsidiary after reclassifying the balance of the accumulated foreign exchange differences on the translation of financial statements throughout 2020, amounting to Rp26.831 billion. The previous year earned a profit of Rp2.897 billion.

Thus, the income account for the year attributable to the parent entity owners was eroded by around 28.55% to Rp215.050 billion in 2020 from Rp301.002 billion in the previous year.

Until the period ending 2020, total assets reached Rp4.452 trillion, with details of total liabilities around Rp1.224 trillion and equity Rp3.227 trillion. Nippon Indosari recorded total cash and cash equivalents at the end of the year at around Rp1.010 trillion.
