Jakarta - PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) recorded a surge in net profit for the year attributable to owners during the first nine months of this year by 115% to Rp893 billion from the same period last year of Rp415 billion.

According to a press release on Wednesday (10/26), DSNG President Director Andrianto Oetomo attributed the increase in profit to the increase in average price, sales volume, and performance of the wood product business.

According to Andrianto, the palm oil sales value increased by 32% due to a 28% increase in the average selling price of CPO to Rp11 million per ton and a 3% increase in CPO sales volumes, following a 24% contraction in CPO sales volume in the first six months.

Production of fresh fruit bunches rose by around 26%, bringing total FFB production in the first nine months of this year to 6% higher, up to the first six months ago, FFB production was still 8% lower than the previous year.
