PPnBM Incentives to Support Bintraco Dharma Sales
The incentive policy for Sales Tax on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) in the automotive sector brings a special blessing to PT Industri dan Perdagangan Bintraco Dharma Tbk (CARS), which manages cars dealerships.
Investor Relations Bintraco Dharma Yosef said that his company is still recapitulating car sales data in March 2021, which is the beginning of implementing automotive PPnBM incentives. Regardless, March's car sales trend appears to have shown positive growth compared to sales in January and February.
"CARS recorded that the average car sales in the first two months of this year were around 890 units," he said in Jakarta, Tuesday (13/4).
In March, the company estimated that its car sales would increase by more than 90% of the average sales realization in January-February, thanks to the government's PPnBM incentive policy.
"The types of vehicles that receive many benefits from PPnBM incentives are MPV and low SUV types," said Yosef.
CARS management hopes that this policy's positive impact will continue in line with the company's marketing programs to its customers. Moreover, such incentives make the prices of some cars more affordable for customers.
Currently, CARS operates 24 Nasmoco Toyota dealers in the Central Java and Yogyakarta regions. These dealers are ready to provide the best service to all customers through various programs offered during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"The hope is that economic recovery can occur soon as the vaccination process is getting more intense, which in turn can restore the level of customer trust to the pre-pandemic period," said Yosef.
