Brief of Company Background
PT. Menthobi Karyatama Raya (MKTR) Tbk is a plantation company based in Jakarta. MKTR is part of the Maktour Group, a leading Hajj and Umrah bureau company in Indonesia led by Fuad Hasan Masyhur. Currently, MKTR has a business in the palm oil industry and has plantation areas and a palm oil mill in Central Kalimantan. MKTR puts forward the principles of best corporate governance with the concept of integration between plantation products, processing and utilization of waste. Supported by high standards of management and plantation yields, good transport management, and upholding the concept of being environmentally friendly and sustainable. Through its subsidiaries, MKTR manages an oil palm plantation of around 6,000 hectares and a palm oil mill with a capacity of 30 tons per hour. One form of environmental care, MKTR through its subsidiaries has allocated 50 hectares of land as a high conservation value (HCV) area. Initially, the company was named PT Accinvest Bangun Lestari, then it was changed to PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya based on the Deed of Statement of Meeting Resolutions No. 36 dated December 31, 2020, made before Notary Andhika Mayrizal Amir, SH., M.Kn., Notary in Tangerang.
