Brief of Company Background
PT. Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk. (henceforth Radiant) was founded in 1984 with core business of providing inspection and operation support services for Indonesia oil and gas industry. Since then Radiant has grown its services business portfolio very fast. At present, the company is ready to serve almost all of non-construction services needed by oil and gas industry. A list of the non-construction services include (but not limited to) geologic survey, onshore/ offshore drilling services, operation support and production facilities maintenance, technical inspection, environmental study and mining operation feasibility study. Current major clients includes Chevron, BP, Conoco, Exxon Mobil, PetroChina, CNOOC and Vico. For Technical inspection & certification field, the company known in using the latest NDT technology such as Phased-Array Ultrasonic, Post-Material Identification, etc. In April 2006, the company got a US$110 million contract to provide an offshore production facility (MOPU) on a lease-operate basis to Santos to produce gas in Maleo field. The Company?s managed to book net profit at IDR10.205 billion in 2005, rising about 55% from IDR6.582 billion in 2004. The net profit increase was in line with the revenue which stepped up around 39.1% from IDR331.621 billion to IDR238.799 billion.
