PT Petrokimia Gresik, a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero),  plans to build a Kieserite fertilizer factory together with PT Polowijo Gosari Indonesia.

President Director of Bakir Pasaman said that currently, both parties are studying the establishment of a Kieserite fertilizer factory.

"The Kieserite fertilizer factory is in line with Pupuk Indonesia's business transformation efforts to differentiate its business, as well as in accordance with its vision to become a provider of plant nutrition and sustainable agricultural solutions," in his statement on Friday (11/6).

He explained that the market potential for kieserite fertilizer is still very large considering that most of its needs in Indonesia are met through imports.

"The opportunity is great, and we can also develop other fertilizer products," he added.
