Jakarta - PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO), until the third quarter of 2022, achieved a profit for the period attributable to owners reaching Rp806.32 billion, an increase of around 58.20% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp509.66 billion.

The financial report released Monday (10/31), a decrease in the cost of goods sold by around 12.12% to Rp2.38 trillion from Rp2.71 trillion supported the surge in profit.

The operating profit increased by around 31.18% to Rp1.22 trillion from Rp93 trillion. However, sales were stagnant at around Rp3.91 trillion.

Meanwhile, until September 2022, the company's total assets reached Rp10.38 trillion, with liabilities of Rp5.23 trillion and equity of Rp5.15 trillion.
