Saraswanti Anugrah Increases Annual Capacity to 700,000 Tons
Jakarta - PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) realized an increase in capacity to 700,000 tons per year from 600,000 tons per year.
The rising capacity was in line with the upward trend in palm oil prices since the middle of this year, increasing demand even more. The rise was reflected in the sales in the third quarter of 2021, around 25.50% to Rp1.25 trillion compared to the same period last year of Rp994.89 billion.
"To anticipate the increase in demand for fertilizers, SAMF continues to accelerate the process of increasing factory capacity by 100,000 tons, so that currently it will be 700,000 tons per year," said SAMF President Director Yahya Taufik in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (16/11).
Yahya added that SAMF's capital expenditure for the 2021-2022 period budgeted a cost of around Rp. 105 billion.
