Jakarta - PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO) recorded an increase in the average selling price of crude palm oil (CPO) for the January-September 2021 period by 25% or reached Rp10,290 per kg.

The average selling price of palm kernel (PK), the second-largest contributor to sales during the period, posted a higher value. The average selling price of PK is Rp6,521 per kg, or 49% as of the end of September this year.

"We will continue to strive for production optimization. Looking at the prospect of prices that are still showing an upward trend, we are optimistic that CPO prices in the fourth quarter will still be at a higher level when compared to quarterly and annual terms," ​​said SGRO CEO Budi Setiawan Halim in a statement on Thursday (28/10).
