Saratoga Investama Plans Stock Split with 1:5 Ratio


PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) plans to conduct a stock split.

The proposed stock split ratio is one share with a par value of Rp100 per share to one share with a par value of Rp20 per share. The company said in the disclosure on the IDX, Tuesday (6/4).

To realize this corporate action, the company will ask for shareholders' approval at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on April 28, 2021.

In 2020, Saratoga recorded a profit for the year attributable to the parent entity owners amounting to Rp8.825 trillion, increasing 19.72% from Rp7.371 trillion in the previous year.

This growth achievement was supported by a stronger net profit on investment in stocks and other equity securities of around 35.20%, from Rp6.226 trillion to Rp8.418 trillion. The company managed to reduced interest expenses by around 44.56%, from Rp316.879 billion to Rp220.676 billion.

Meanwhile, Saratoga's total assets reached Rp35.048 trillion by the end of December 2020, consisting of Rp3.652 trillion liabilities and Rp31.396 trillion equity.
