PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) in the first semester of 2021 posted a profit attributable to owners of the parent entity reaching Rp2.65 billion compared to the same period last year, which lost Rp137.62 billion.

The financial report was released on Friday (30/7). SMBR was able to profit thanks to an increase in revenue of around 13.66% to Rp763.63 billion compared to the same period the previous year, Rp671.82 billion.

The cost of goods sold was also successfully reduced by 6.7% to Rp407.45 billion from Rp436.73 billion.

SMBR also booked an increase in other operating income by around 21.26% to Rp7.05 billion from the same period the previous year of Rp5.82 billion.

Until the period ending June 2021, the company's total assets reached Rp5.75 trillion, with liabilities recorded at Rp2.35 trillion and equity Rp3.40 trillion.
