PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), as of the first semester of 2021, recorded a profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of US$337.04 million, an increase of 386.85% compared to the same period in the previous year of US$69.23 million.

The company's financial report released on Friday (30/7) showed that the significant increase in profit was supported by the rise in revenue of around 47.19% to US$1.02 billion compared to the same period in 2020 of US$695.72 million.

In addition, the company managed to reduce the cost of revenue by around 14.46% to US$431.97 million from US$505.01 million.

By the end of June 2021, BYAN's total assets were at US$1.52 billion with liabilities and equity of US$583.37 million and US$945.45 million, respectively.
