Jakarta - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX), in the semester I-2021, posted a net profit for the current period attributable to owners of the parent company of Rp432.10 billion, an increase of 491.01% compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp73.11 billion.

In the financial report released Tuesday (31/8), the increase in net profit was supported by an increase in IDX's total revenue of around 70.42% to Rp1.25 trillion from the same period last year of around Rp737.77 billion.

The total revenue consisted of operating income related to stock exchange transactions, which rose 61.73% from Rp656 billion to Rp1.06 trillion.

Operating income from non-stock exchange transactions also increased by around 55.98% to Rp57.21 billion from Rp36.67 billion.

IDX also pocketed investment income for the first six months of this year, amounting to Rp67.13 billion from the previous loss of around Rp10.60 billion.
