First Semester, Semen Indonesia Net Profit Rises 30% YoY to 794 Billion


PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) in the first semester of 2021 posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity reaching Rp794.12 billion or growing by around 29.65% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp612.46 billion.

The financial report published Monday (2/8) revealed that the profit increased due to low selling expenses of around 5.85% to Rp1.23 trillion from Rp1.31 trillion.

In addition, the company managed to reduce the rate of financial burden by around 27.74 percent or from Rp. 1.20 trillion to Rp. 870.62 billion.

Meanwhile, until the first semester of 2021, SMGR's revenue grew 1.17% to Rp16.21 trillion compared to the same period the previous year of Rp16.02 trillion.

Meanwhile, total assets until the first half of this year were recorded at IDR 75.02 trillion with liabilities of IDR 37.90 trillion and equity of IDR 35.86 trillion.
