Jakarta - PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA) posted a profit growth for the period attributable to owners for the January-September 2021 period of 15.78% to US$34,173 million from the same period last year of US$29,513 million.

The company's financial report published on Friday (29/10) showed that the profit increased on the back of a 4.15% increase in revenue to US$286.803 million from the same period last year of US$275.359 million.

Cost of revenue increased by about 6.44% to US$243.762 million from US$228.994 million.

TOBA's operating profit rose around 5.50% to US$69.281 million from US$65.666 million. The driving component was a gain on foreign exchange of US$1,241 million, an increase of 22.05% from US$1.017 million, and other net income, which also grew 30.91% to US$39,097 million from US$29,865 million.

Meanwhile, TOBA's total assets for the period ending September 2021 were at US$796.372 million, with cash and cash equivalents
