Jakarta - PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) until the third quarter of 2021 recorded a decrease in nickel in matte (t) production volume of around 13.29% to 48,373 t from the same period in the previous year of 55,792 t.

"This decrease was due to maintenance activities that occurred in the first quarter of this year," said INCO Corporate Secretary Cut Fika in information disclosure on Thursday (21/10).

The decline was also seen from the third quarter of this year of around 6.9% to 18,127 t from 19,477 t.

"Nevertheless, the company will optimize production according to the plan for the remainder of 2021, while implementing high standards of occupational health and safety protocols in our operations," he said.
