Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya Tbk posted profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp340.238 billion for the January-September 2021 period compared to the same period last year, which lost Rp2.631 trillion.

Referring to the company's financial statements published on Monday (22/11), the lower cost of revenue of around 37.58% to Rp6.848 trillion from Rp10,971 trillion supported the profit achievement.

In addition, Waskita also managed to pocket other net income of Rp.3.653 trillion from the previous burden of Rp.402.765 billion.

Waskita also obtained a foreign exchange gain of Rp179.703 million, reversing from a foreign exchange loss of Rp1.226 billion.

The company also reduced financial expenses and a net loss of associates by 12.21% to Rp2.586 trillion and 15.20% to Rp212.713 billion, respectively.

However, operating income decreased by around 39.31% to Rp7.125 trillion from Rp11.740 trillion.
