Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT), in collaboration with PT Danareksa, will launch a program to accelerate and improve the performance of SOEs in the post-pandemic construction sector through the mechanism for selling property inventories (asset monetization).

"This acceleration program provides an opportunity for investors to acquire property inventories that are owned, controlled, and managed by state-owned construction companies," said WSKT SVP Corporate Secretary Ratna Ningrum in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday (20/1).

According to Ratna, asset monetization will significantly impact financial performance for both Waskita Karya Realty and the consolidation of the Waskita Group, with the proceeds from this program will later be used for other investment funding in 2022.

"The optimism for the acceleration of the performance of this program is reflected in the net profit of state-owned companies in the first semester of 2021 which
