Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk took over 539.615 million shares owned by the Karya Mitra Satya Cooperative (KKMS) in PT Wijaya Karya Realty (WR).

Based on the company's information disclosure submitted to the Exchange on Tuesday (3/1), this plan aims to increase the portion of private share ownership in WR, which will increase the profit attributable to the company.

Meanwhile, the transaction price is around Rp100 per share, so the purchase value of the shares is Rp53.961 billion.

The transaction value is around 0.31% of the company's equity, which was recorded on June 30, 2022, reaching Rp17.433 trillion.

KKMS is a shareholder of WR with ownership of 2.553 billion shares or the equivalent of 3.48%, and WIKA controls as many as 52.676 billion shares or the equivalent of 71.78% of WR shares to 72.51%.
