Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) plans to invest in PT Jasa Marga Gedebage Cilacap (JGC) worth Rp1.686 trillion.

Based on the company's information disclosure on Friday (4/3), the initial capital deposit was Rp609.6 billion. WIKA is a 10% shareholder of PT JGC, which operates the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap toll road project.

Besides WIKA, other shareholders are PT Jasa Marga Tbk, PT PP Tbk, PT Dayamulia Turangga, PT Jasa Sarana, PT Gama Group, and PT Waskita Karya. This company has formed a consortium of Jasa Marga-PP-DMT, Jasa Sarana-Gama-Waskita.

With this transaction, the company can support PT JGC's funding needs in carrying out its operational activities in the future. It is expected to make a positive contribution to the company.

Because the investment value of WIKA is only around 9.38% of the company's equity, which reached Rp17.980 trillion as of September 30, 2021, it does not include material transactions.
