Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk recorded the achievement of new contracts until the end of February 2022 of Rp6.1 trillion, or 14% of this year's target of Rp. 42.6 trillion.

WIKA has won a number of new contracts, including access to Makassar New Port, Pondok Aren – Serpong toll road, Semarang – Demak 1B toll road, and civil works for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Donggala port.

"WIKA is optimistic that 2022 will be productive, in line with the year's designation as the year of sustainable recovery, in which the construction sector will play a key role," WIKA President Director Agung Budi Waskito said in a press release on Friday (3/18).

He added that the opportunity also came from the G20 event, where Indonesia was appointed to the presidency in October-November. The government is preparing a number of infrastructures to support the event, which G20 heads of state will attend.
