PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WIKA) increased its paid-in and issued capital by issuing new shares in the deposits of PT Wijaya Karya Industri Kontruksi with a transaction value of Rp. 162.74 billion.

WIKA's Corporate Secretary, Mahendra Vijaya, said that this transaction is a transaction to increase capital participation to maintain the company's percentage of share ownership in PT Wijaya Karya Industri Konstruksi.

"In addition, the consideration is that this transaction is used to increase capital at PT Wika Industri Kontruksi to replace funding for the purchase of PT Bangun Sarana Baja's assets," he said in information disclosure on the IDX on Friday (2/7).

Meanwhile, WIKA is the holder of 98.395% shares of the Construction Industry Wika.
