Telecommunication provider PT Xl Axiata Tbk (EXCL) completed the sale and purchase transaction of 161 tower assets to PT DHOST Telekomunikasi Nusantara.

In the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, EXCL management stated that on March 31, 2021, the company completed a sale and purchase transaction, including transferring 161 telecommunication infrastructure assets to DHOST.

The company settled the sale and purchase transaction at Rp137.6 billion. After transferring ownership, these infrastructure assets are no longer listed as XL Axiata assets.

Previously, XL Axiata also received fresh funds worth Rp4.05 trillion after divesting 2,782 towers last year.

The telecommunication provider with issuer coded EXCL sold the towers to PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) and PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT).
