PKPK to Finance Acquisition Plan via Rights Issue


Jakarta - PT Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (PKPK) plans to increase its capital through Preemptive Rights I or rights issue I by issuing 600 million new shares.

In the company's prospectus issued on Monday (8/22), PT Deli Pratama Batubara (DPB), with PKPK shares ownership of 50.09% in the rights issue I, will make payments by way of share shares.

Meanwhile, the process of transferring shares is 9.994 million owned by DPB in PT Bhakti Harapan Sejahtera.

If the public does not take up the remaining new shares of the company, then DPB acts as a standby buyer with a maximum of Rp5 billion, which it will pay in cash.

PKPK will use the proceeds from rights issue I to acquire 99.94% of BHS and meet the working capital needs of the company/associated entity.
