Banks Syariah Indonesia Eyes Rp500 Billion Fee-based Income


PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) projects a fee-based income of Rp500 billion by the end of this year, collaborating with a sharia-based rural bank, PT BPR Syariah Hijra Alami.

The work of BSI and BPR Syariah Hijra Alami is through the digital Application Programming Interface (API).

API is an attractive solution and offer for digital partners such as e-commerce, fintech, merchants, payment gateways, and others who need white label Islamic banking services integrated into their products & services to end-users.

BSI Group Head of Digital Banking, Wijayanto, said, BSI as the largest Islamic bank in Indonesia is serious about working on the digital market to expand its network.
