Jakarta - PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) recorded a decrease in profit for the period attributable to owners of around 14.10% to Rp4.646 trillion at the end of September this year from Rp5.409 trillion in the same period last year.

The company's financial report released on Thursday (12/1) showed that the high financial burden more than doubled to Rp5.441 trillion from the previous Rp2.037 trillion, depressing the company's profits.

The cost of goods sold also swelled by around 14.34% to Rp55.742 trillion from Rp48.750 trillion.

Nevertheless, INDF managed to increase its consolidated net sales achievement by 11%, to Rp80.821 trillion from Rp72.808 trillion.

Operating profit also rose 416% to Rp14.184 trillion from Rp12.233 trillion, but the operating profit margin increased to 17.6% from 16.8%.
