Jakarta - PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) achieved a net profit of Rp1.8 trillion in the first nine months of this year, reversing a loss of Rp114.8 billion in the same period last year.

According to VP Investor Relations Ratih Gianda, MAPI's ability to record profits was supported by MAPI's higher net income of around 55.8% to Rp18.8 trillion from Rp12.1 trillion, with gross profit margin rising to 45.1% from 41.6%.

MAPI also pocketed an operating profit of around Rp2.2 trillion from the previous loss of Rp388.4 billion. EBITDA reached Rp3.9 trillion, up from Rp2 trillion recorded in the same period last year.
