PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) posted net sales during the first quarter of 2021 of Rp4.31 trillion or 8.66% lower than the same period last year Rp4.72 trillion.

The low growth in net sales was triggered by a decrease in a number of revenue components, such as retail and wholesale sales by around 7% to Rp 4.10 trillion, consignment sales commissions of 35.71% to Rp163.72 billion, rental and maintenance services revenue of around 44.42% to RpRp 17.78 billion.

MAPI spokesperson Ratih D. Gianda said that sales in the first quarter of this year almost matched the achievement in the same period throughout 2019, which reached Rp4.7 trillion, supported by increased public confidence after the Covid-19 vaccine began to be distributed.
