Jakarta - PT Pupuk Indonesia incised profit growth attributable to owners of the parent entity in the first semester of 2021 by 48.34% to Rp2.682 trillion from the same period last year, Rp1.808 trillion.

According to the financial report published on Tuesday (31/8), the reduced cost of revenue by around 11.36% to Rp28.220 trillion from Rp31.839 trillion supported the increase in profit.

The selling expense of Pupuk Indonesia also declined by around 14.75% to Rp553.549 billion from Rp649.372 billion. Finance costs shrank by around 31.86%, from Rp1.767 trillion to Rp1.204 trillion.

Unfortunately, other operating revenues and sales decreased by around 8.56%, or from Rp38.387 trillion to Rp35.101 trillion.

Total assets reached Rp127.016 trillion with liabilities of Rp56.870 trillion and equity of Rp70.145 trillion.

Meanwhile, the balance of cash and cash equivalents at the end of the year was recorded at Rp10,407 trillion.
