Wijaya Karya Bags Rp10.5 Trillion New Contracts in Jan-Jun


PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk until the first semester of 2021 recorded new contracts reaching Rp10.5 trillion, up 208.82% compared to the same period last year of Rp3.4 trillion.

WIKA's President Director, Agung Budi Waskita, said the achievement in the first semester of 2021 was around 26.16% of WIKA's new contract target set this year, amounting to Rp40.12 trillion.

"In the second semester, we are still focusing on infrastructure projects, which are expected to contribute around IDR 8-10 trillion to the total new contracts," he said in a statement in Jakarta, Friday (9/7).

In addition, WIKA is also eyeing the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) sector with a target of around Rp4-6 trillion and buildings of Rp6-7 trillion. The rest is expected to be contributed by supporting industries, such as precast concrete, steel structures, and other industries around Rp3-4 trillion.
