Jakarta - PT KAI has signed a letter of commitment to receive state capital investment funds amounting to Rp6.9 trillion.

"KAI has received the disbursement of state investment funds 2021," said Executive VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Asdo Artriviyanto in a statement in Jakarta on Monday (3/1).

He explained that the company would use the state investment fund to finance the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail and Jabodebek LRT projects.

With this PMN, the issued and paid-up capital was originally worth Rp12.26 trillion to Rp19.16 trillion.

The state investment fund is based on PP No. 119 of 2021 concerning the addition of the Republic of Indonesia's State Equity Participation into the Share Capital of PT KAI.
