Pratama Widya Cuts New Contract Target to Rp252 Billion in 2021


Jakarta - Construction company PT Pratama Widya Tbk (PTPW) revised its new contract target for this year to Rp252 billion from the original contract target of Rp387 billion.

"There was a revision of the new contract target of 65% from the initial target due to the delay in the tender time and the increase in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia in the middle of the year. The company predicts that the COVID-19 pandemic will slow down in 2021, but there is a spike in COVID-19 cases in June and July 2021," said PTPW Corporate Secretary Richard Antonio in his statement on Thursday (14/10).

As for the end of September 2021, the new contract value reached Rp196 billion.

According to Richard, the largest company's new contracts are still dominated by the infrastructure sector.

Several projects achieved by PTPW until the end of September 2021 include the diaphragm wall construction of the Leuwikeris dam of Rp27 billion, bored pile work for flood
