IATA Eyes Rp2.67 Trillion via Rights Issue


Jakarta - PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA) intends to raise funds through a limited public offering by granting preemptive rights or by issuing rights worth Rp2.67 trillion.

In the company's prospectus issued Wednesday (10/19), IATA will issue 14.84 billion Series B shares with an exercise price of Rp180 each.

The company will use the proceeds from this rights issue to pay off all IATA promissory notes issued to BHIT by way of paying with money or converting claim rights into shares, depositing capital to PT Bhakti Migas Resources (BMR), and depositing to PT Bhakti Coal Resources (BCR) for working capital and business development in the coal mining sector.

After the rights issue, IATA will be directly owned by PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk (BHIT).

Along with the rights issue, IATA will issue a total of 2.968 billion series I warrants. Every five shares resulting from the exercise of the rights issue is attached to one series I warrant an exe
