Jakarta- PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO) posted sales growth for the January-September 2021 period of 73.01% to Rp3.905 trillion from Rp2.257 trillion.

The company's financial statements published Wednesday (27/10) showed an increase in sales during the first nine months of this year, boosting the current period profit attributable to owners of the parent entity by 2,767.64% to Rp509.666 billion from the previous Rp17.773 billion.

SGRO's operating profit also nearly tripled to Rp933.856 billion from Rp318.604 billion.

However, its cost of goods sold increased by 51.02% to Rp2.714 trillion from Rp1.797 trillion.

Until September 2021, SGRO's total assets were recorded at Rp9,762 trillion, with liabilities of Rp5,473 trillion and equity of Rp4,288 trillion.

Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period were at Rp572,917 billion, an increase of more than double from Rp223,012 trillion in the period last year.
