PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO) recorded an average CPO selling price growth during the January-June 2021 period of around 19% or reached Rp10,000 per kg from Rp8,409 per kg in the same period last year.

"In a row for five months, the company has succeeded in increasing the average selling price of its palm oil (CPO), from around Rp. 9,500 per kg in January 2021 to Rp. 10,800 in June 2021," said SGRO CEO Budi Halim in a statement in Jakarta on Friday (30/7).

Meanwhile, the average selling price of palm kernel (PK) in the period ending June 2021 was Rp6,700 per kg, or 47% higher than the same period last year of Rp4,521 per kg.

The sales volume of CPO and PK increased significantly, by 38% and 31%, respectively, in the period ended June this year. The two products contributed 95% to the company's consolidated sales, which reached Rp2.666 trillion or 66% higher than the same period last year of Rp1.602 trillion.
