Jakarta - PT Triputra Agro Persada Tbk (TAPG), until the first semester of 2021, posted a profit for the current period attributable to owners reaching Rp1.77 trillion, or a 339.25% increase compared to the same period the previous year of Rp405 billion.

The financial report released Monday (7/25) showed that higher sales of about double, or from Rp2.85 trillion to Rp4.61 trillion, supported the surge in profit.

The company also increased profit from joint ventures to Rp604,548 billion from the same period the previous year of Rp196.40 billion.

On the other hand, the company reduced financial costs by 28.42% to Rp125.54 billion from Rp175.3 billion. Financial income increased by around 107.45% to Rp25.74 billion from Rp12.40 billion.

However, the cost of goods sold increased by about 21.14% to Rp2.65 trillion from Rp2.19 trillion.
