PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk recorded an increased in profit for the year attributable to the parent company owners throughout 2020 of around 16.72% to Rp2,792 trillion compared to the previous year Rp2,392 trillion.

Based on the financial reports published on Monday (1/3), the company's profit growth was supported by a decrease in the cost of revenue by around 14.82%, from Rp27.654 trillion to Rp23.554 trillion.

Also, Semen Indonesia successfully reduced its financial burden by around 172.38%, from Rp3.205 trillion to Rp2.320 trillion.

The company also obtained an exchange rate different from the translation of foreign business activities of Rp. 39.471 billion from the previously recorded loss of around Rp. 97.354 billion.

Unfortunately, the company's operating income shrunk around 12.87% to Rp35.171 trillion until the period ending 2020 compared to the previous year's reaching Rp. 40.368 trillion.

Total assets per share also decreased by around 2.25% to Rp78.006 trillion by December 2020 from a similar period in the previous year of Rp79.807 trillion, consisting of Rp40.571 trillion liabilities Rp35.635 trillion equity.

Meanwhile, Semen Indonesia recorded cash and cash equivalents at the end of the year to have decreased by 25.85%  to Rp2,930 trillion from Rp3,950 trillion.
