Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya  Tbk (WSKT) plans to postpone additional capital with pre-emptive rights or rights issues through a limited public offering III.

"This is due to the recent and unfavorable global market conditions, which have affected the company's share price performance," said WSKT President Director Destiawan Soewardjono on Monday (1/2).

Furthermore, this delay is carried out until the company's share price and performance improve. The decision to postpone was approved by the Privatization Committee meeting, which was held on December 27, 2022.

"The postponement of this plan will certainly have an impact on the company's budget work plan, but the company remains committed to improving financial performance and seeking alternative funding sources," he said.

The rights issue plan received approval from the EGMS on September 26, 2022.
