Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk plans to expand to airport operation business, including investment in Batam's Hang Nadim International Airport.

The management period is 25 years, and it has been approved by the Hang Nadim Airport PPP Project Procurement Committee of the Batam Area Concession Agency. Following the approval, WIKA will form an implementing business entity with a consortium to carry out airport infrastructure management activities and its supports.

The plan for the addition of these business activities will require the approval of the EGMS in the near future.

Previously, WIKA, together with PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) and Incheon International Airport Corporation, had formed the API-IIAC-WIKA consortium, which was determined as the winner of the auction for the government cooperation project with the Hang Nadim Airport PPP based on a letter dated March 30, 2021.
