The background of this merger is to maximize the power and potential of each existing bank so as to create new synergies , both in the use of capital , a wider network of business and human resources .The merger is legally stated in the Certificate of Merger No. . 171 dated November 28 and approved by the Governor of Bank Indonesia . 9/67/KEP/GBI/2007 dated December 18, 2007 . The entire budget of the bank elementary amended according to the Law No. . 40/2007 on Limited Liability Company and the Bank's name was changed to PT Bank Windu Kentjana International , Inc., as stated in Deed No. . 172 dated 28 November 2007 , approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. . AHU - 00982.AH.01.02 dated January 8, 2008 , thus the date of January 8, 2008 is the effective date of the legal merger , which was once used as the birthday of PT Bank Windu Kentjana International , Tbk .Through the approval of the Governor of Bank Indonesia . 10/9/KEP.GBI/2008 dated February 8, 2008 , PT Bank Multicor business license , business license Tbk changed the name of PT . Bank Windu Kentjana International , Tbk .The objectives of penggabungantersebut are :1 .
