Brief of Company Background
It currently owns and manages the Plaza Bandung Indah I and II shopping centers, which occupy 4.6 ha in all. Another project, the 256-room Hotel Hyatt Pakunegara, is now approaching completion on an adjacent 0.9 ha site. The shares of the company were first listed on the OTC Market, and since the merger of the OTC Market with the Surabaya Stock Exchange (SSX), the shares have automatically been listed on the SSX as well. The Annual General Meeting, held April 3, 1996, decided to increase authorized capital from Rp 160 billion to Rp 280 billion. The same meeting also decided on a stock split, lowering par value from Rp 1,000 to Rp 500 per share, and to distribute bonus shares at a ratio of 5:4. The company plans to acquire and manage ex Bank Summa that was liquidated in 1992. Bank Summa assets being estimated about Rp 600 billion. On March 12, 1998, the shareholder's meeting agreed to acquire five companies worth Rp 362.55 billion. Those five companies operated in property, namely PT Asri Kencana Gemilang, PT Binangun Artha Perkasa, PT Savoy Niaga, PT Suryagajah Maspertiwi and PT Darmo Satellite Town
